Students will explore areas that influence how we develop throughout life stages and raise expectations of how we can lives successful and healthy lives.

Through the study of Health and Social Care, we aim to develop student’s employability skills and teach them how they can perform a positive role in the local community as well as learning about the core concepts of the subject.

Our students are encouraged to develop a detailed knowledge of the subject and should be able to link different topics together as they progress through the course.

Students will develop their analysis skills, and learn to apply all their knowledge to the real world with the support of case studies.

Enrichment

Students will learn about the role of health and social care in their local area and the way organisations can impact on people’s lives.

They will take an active role in their community as they set up for a Christmas party at our local care home.
