A Level Religious Education

Throughout your studies with the RE Team, you will engage with key philosophical ideas, ethical debates and scholarly literature. You will be encouraged to reflect on and develop your own values, opinions and attitudes to the big issues of life, whilst also critically analysing the theories of famous ethicists, philosophers, and theologians. Your studies will challenge you to explore questions such as: How do you know God exists? What is the most moral choice? Is Christianity relevant today?

The skills you will learn in Religious Education are essential in almost all professions. This subject will help you to develop critical analysis, communication skills, problem solving and the ability to present your ideas in a persuasive and rational way. RE is highly valued by universities and many students with Religious Education qualifications go into Law, Education, Charity or Politics.
